My Approach.
I draw on several integrative, therapeutic modalities, while leaning into my own life's experience traveling the world and working with diverse individuals. While I believe that therapy doesn't need to be painful, I do believe that it should be challenging. Only through adversity comes true evolution and real growth.
Far too often it’s not what we think, but the way we’ve learned to think that limits our progress and prevents us from living a more authentic and joyful life. I challenge clients to explore and adopt new perspectives, think differently, and approach old problems with new insight. I also challenge clients to explore the stories they tell, knowing well that the meanings we've made in the past directly impact our present lives.
My version of therapy is collaborative, dynamic, and follows a goal-oriented approach. This begins with developing a greater sense of awareness that involves unlearning and eliminating maladaptive behaviors and habits in order to interrupt patterns that keep you feeling stuck—and take you off the path of your most fulfilling, authentic life.
If you don’t just want to feel better, but be better, and have a more positive impact on those around you—and are willing to put in the work—then let's get to work.
