About Me.

My journey to become a therapist hasn't been straight-forward. In fact it's been the result of a lifetime of experience that has included travel across the world, combat experience as a Navy Seal, work in factories, marketing agencies, private security work in far away places, and even teaching high school English in an inner-city classroom.

Having had tremendous challenges navigating my own life transitions, I reluctantly sought my own therapy for the first time in 2012. That experience changed the way I viewed mental health, and informed my own ability to take ownership of my circumstance--while introducing me to tools and perspective that help me create a life I once imagined.

Having always found joy in helping others along the way-especially those marginalized and with limited resources--I've always looked for the most effective way to positively impact my community. In 2018, I finally decided to quit whatever else I was doing (security work off the coast of Africa) in order to acquire the formal education needed to help others faced with their own unique challenges.

I now believe that my diverse background, experience, and education allow me to connect with an array of diverse clients at different stages of their own journeys—helping them progress toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
